A man was shot and killed early Sunday in Southeast Washington, police said.
Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 3400 block of 22nd Street SE about 1 a.m., said police spokeswoman Makhetha Watson. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Watson said. Police had not released details about the victim’s identity or any suspect as of Sunday afternoon.
Separately, police on Sunday identified the victim of a June 19 shooting in the 600 block of I Street NW, in the Chinatown neighborhood, as 30-year-old George Johnson, of Northwest Washington.
